Joan performed our baby naming ceremony for our 3 month old baby boy Charles Mitchell on July 20th 2009.

The baby naming was held at the beautiful ceremony and reception venue at Silver-Ridge (approx 8 minutes from K.Mart in Toowoomba).

The decorations our civil celebrant Joan organised for our baby naming ceremony included silver and blue helium balloons, colour coded chair bows, beautiful chair covers and deluxe table cloths for the morning tea that followed (had our baby naming been for a girl the bows and balloons would have been pink).

Joan was able to organise all the important details of the baby naming for me, which made the day a lot easier.

Joan was also wonderful in helping us prepare for our ceremony, she was a great celebrant. We were able to sit down and go through the ceremony and create something which suited us.

We also decided to add a further special touch and have a sand ceremony incorporated ,the sand was poured by 4 members of our immediate family. We will always treasure the container with the coloured sand mixed together as one (never to be separated).

We decided to ask our guests to "bring a plate of finger food" along and we then had a combined finger food morning tea outside.

We were also very impressed with the glorious views at the venue we chose.
All our guests commented on the lovely ceremony Joan performed and how the venue was just perfect for our day.

I would highly recommend Joan and the venue we decided on  to anyone who is wanting to have an intimate ceremony with all the special touches.

Ceremonies can be performed at the venue mentioned above or at a venue of your choice. ( The venue Hire fee for holding the ceremony at the beautiful Silver-Ridge venue which is situated approximately 8 minutes from Toowoomba is the very reasonable tarif of $225 for inside ceremony room( seats 55 guests) or outside ceremony area is $165.These prices include 25 chairs, extra chairs & bows can be hired at an small extra cost.). The celebrant fee for a baby naming is the same as for a Renewal of Vows $225 (this includes P.A. System),The celebrant fee includes, a folder with sample ceremonies to choose from (or make up your own ceremony), an initial meeting, unlimited phone or email access with the celebrant, a rehearsal prior to the ceremony. A professional service is what you will want and that is what you will get.
