Wedding Hire & Ceremonies

Marriage celebrant fee $450 or $400 if our P.A. system is not required.

Renewal of vows, baby naming or funeral celebrant fee is $225 (includes P.A)

As a Civil Celebrant I offer professional service ( often dates go quickly, it is recommended you pay your deposit of $75(non refundable) to secure your desired ceremony date as soon as possible). This can be sent by post (cheque made out to J.Haase) to P.O Box 1257, Toowoomba 4350 Qld or deposited into my bank account, or paid at meeting with celebrant.

Once a decision is made to use my celebrant services fill in the booking form. and return by email and I will contact you.(if you prefer a male, your contact details will be passed onto the male celebrant). You can wait to fill in the booking form till the inital meeting if that is preferred. You are welcome to bring your original birth certificates to the initial first meeting, and that way if you choose my services and pay your deposit of $75, I can go through and do all the legal formalities then and there with you and that can be out of the way allowing you to have one less thing to worry about prior to the ceremony.

• 5% reduction on celebrant fee's for a couple both on the pension or Social Security payments.
• Fee for use of the inside venue ( shown in this website) for ceremony $225 (does not include celebrant fee). If you are interested in learning more about this ceremony venue mention that to celebrant(Joan) and you will be directed to the proprioter.
• Fee for use of outside venue for ceremony $165 (does not include celebrant fee).
• Use of  inside venue includes 25 chairs & covers (more chairs and covers incur fee).
• Use of venue for outside ceremonies includes (25 chairs) extra hire fee for more than 25 chairs (bows incur a normal hire fee of $1.10 ea).
• Fee to use inside venue for reception is $350 (includes all chairs and chair covers, plus all other hire items such as tables, linen, cutlery, plates etc). This fee does not include catering. (menu's can be discussed)
• Fee to use venue outside for finger food morning or afternoon tea (outside) $160  (finger food not included - price can be discussed).Or some couples ask their guests to all bring a plate or two.
• Once deposit is paid for the celebrant booking, a folder is presented to the couple which includes legal documents, and various ceremonies ( on C.D.) to either choose one or mix and match.I will ( as your wedding celebrant)I work with you until you have the perfect personalised ceremony. The C.D. also contains a great deal more information for you.

PLEASE NOTE:

Should there be a cancellation, the $75 deposit fee is non-refundable. It wouldnt cover the time already given, or the contents in the folder given when deposit was paid. Or the fact the desired date may have been wanted by another couple who had to be turned away.

Any balance owing is required to be paid in full at least one week prior to the wedding ceremony. A lay by system is also available or direct credit into a specified bank account, (to pay the ceremony fee off in progressive payments before your special day.)

Couples both on pensions or social security payments will receive reduced rates. 5% off

There is no extra charge for celebrant to travel anywhere in Toowoomba or within quarter of an hour radius of Toowoomba. Travel to perform a wedding, renewal of vows, baby naming/dedication or funeral anywhere up to three hours from Toowoomba will incur a travel fee.

The approximate time of the majority of weddings lasts 20-30 minutes (including certificate signing), you can increase or decrease this time.

There has been quite a bit of news of late regards celebrants without sufficient training  ( or ongoing training) who are not including the legal parts in the ceremonies ( making the wedding invalid). One well known professional celebrant said that couples are willing to pay up to $25,000.00 for their wedding, yet try to get the cheapest celebrant( often to their regret).   A wedding can continue without anything else, but it can't continue without the celebrant.     A good professional celebrant these day's will charge between $450 and $1000. We keep our rates at a very reasonable tarif, with our professional background and years of experience we could easily charge $700 or more,but we choose to keep our fee very reasonable. Regardless of this you can be assured of a very professional service.

We try to only do one wedding per any one day.....this way we are not rushing off or hurrying the service if the bride arrives late ( we had one bride arrive three hours late).
